The Metina Farm vignards stretch out in the sun to the south-east at an altitude of between 300 and 350 metres.
This is a highly valued area in the heart of the region dedicated to producing Nobile di Montepulciano wine.
This farm extends over six hectares and the owners themselves, with the help of a wine expert, follow every stage of production, both in the vignards and in the cellars.
Every year the vines are thinned-out to improve quality, an operation that reduces yield by at least 80 quintals of grapes per hectare. The result is a wine with a persistent and flowery fragrance, dry and generous on the palate.
A harmonious wine with a strong character, attentive to current sensitivities and proud of its history.
The Metina Farm produces the following products: Nobile di MontepulcianoVino Nobile Riserva D.O.C.G. (only in very good years), and Rosso di Montepulciano D.O.C.; we also produce Extra Virgin Olive Oil (made with hand-picked olives, with acidity below 0,5%).
