On holiday with children
At Agriturismo Metina, children discover the joy of playing
outside, free to invent a new game every day, and relish the
pleasure of running on and rolling in grass, getting happily
dirty.
Next to the playground, with its slide and swings, there are
other games, such as Twister, that are also appealing to rather
more grown up children … whatever their age.
Let your children enjoy the freedom of an immense sky. They will always
remember these holidays spent amidst the unforgettable Tuscan sky and
landscapes.
Often growing up in urban landscapes, children rarely have the
opportunity to enjoy nature. In Metina, they have the chance to discover
the arresting nature surrounding them. Observing nature and enjoying
its colours, its scents, and the incredible sensations it gives will soon
displace those ever-present screens.
Metina has a big enclosed garden where children can play freely and
safely. They can let their imagination run free, roll in the grass, or swing
and slide in the playground, where they will also find balls and hoops
and so much more to invent new games.
The swimming pool has a depth of 90 to 140 cm and a comfortable
access ramp, that makes it ideal for all who can swim. Floating toys and
child armrests are also available. For smaller children who cannot swim
on their own, there is a paddling pool.
In the apartments there are books, board games and “magical” boxes full
of games and colouring books.
A holiday in the countryside is also an opportunity to learn about and
discover the flora and fauna of our wonderful world. This is why we
regularly organise walks in the neighbouring fields to observe the traces
left by wild animals, listen to the birds’ songs, and discover flowers and
herbs.
